Universal Analytics will end on July 1st, 2023. Are you Ready to install Google Analytics 4 on your business website? Here's a quick guide to get it done in less than 5 minutes.

First, go to Google Analytics and create a new GA4 property. Then choose ONE of the following 3 tagging options:
OPTION 1:
Follow these instructions if you are currently using Google Tag Manager to fire your Universal Analytics code:
1. Open Google Tag Manager
2. Click 'Tags' > 'New'
3. Click 'Tag Configuration' and select 'GA4 configuration'
4. Enter the Measurement ID of your newly created GA4 property
5. Select the 'All Pages' trigger
6. Save and publish your new tag
7. For now, also keep your current Universal Analytics code up and running (don't delete that tag)
OPTION 2:
Follow these instructions if you DON'T use Google Tag Manager AND you are currently ALREADY using the new gtag.js code on your website:
If you already use the gtag.js on your site, you don't need to add new codes. Just make sure that you turn on tagging for the GA4 stream:
1. Open your current Google Analytics property
2. Go to Admin > Tracking info > Tracking code
3. Click 'Connected Site Tags' under 'Global site tag (gtag.js)'
4. Connect the Measurement ID of your newly created GA4 property
5. Be sure to keep your current Universal Analytics code up and running as these need to stay connected
OPTION 3:
Follow these instructions if you DON'T use Google Tag Manager AND you are currently NOT using the new gtag.js code on your website (for example when you are still using the analytics.js tag on your website):
1. Open the 'Setup Assistant' of your newly created GA4 property
2. Click 'Tag installation' under 'Collection'
3. Select your Data Stream and click the arrow at the right
4. Open the 'Add new on-page tag' section under 'Tagging instructions'
5. Choose the 'Global site tag (gtag.js)' option and copy your new gtag.js code
6. Copy this global site tag code into the
